Program Description:

Blackstone’s Summer Analyst Program spans 10 weeks, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone’s culture.

Job Description: 

The Finance Leadership Development Program seeks to offer a challenging experience within Blackstone’s Finance group to those who are interested in careers in corporate finance and accounting.

The program offers a hands-on experience across corporate and business finance groups, through which Summer Analysts will have direct exposure to senior-level management, engaging mentors, and targeted training. Our training program aims to enhance technical, analytical and communication skills, as well as contribute to the success of each analyst in their various assignments, including analysis, reconciliation and reporting, and an end-of-internship presentation.

Summer Analysts will be placed in one group within Finance for the duration of the program. Subject to availability at the time of placement, there are a variety of projects and responsibilities available, including, but not limited to:

• Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis: Forecasting and reporting of detailed firm P&L and capital metrics financials to senior management on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Preparing firm financial results for Blackstone’s quarterly earnings call and earnings release; compiling preparation materials for Blackstone’s CFO ahead of the quarterly earnings call.

• Blackstone Internal Audit (“BXIA”): Evaluate processes and controls within firm businesses, enterprise functions, and jurisdictions to provide independent and objective assurance to the Blackstone Board of Directors and executive management that controls are well governed, operating effectively, and meeting risk management objectives. Perform control testing, identify key risks, and design corrective actions as part of risk-based audits. Assist in the firmwide risk assessment process and aid in the development of the annual internal audit plan. Work collaboratively with global cross-functional teams and senior leadership to deliver audit engagements.

• Investor Product Services: responsible for the preparation and presentation of all marketing and fundraising materials related to each respective business’ funds. The role entails close collaboration with internal teams as well as current / prospective investors to field any client requests and provide updates on performance, finance, and investment strategy.

• Blackstone Credit (“BXC”) Valuations: Assist in the BXC Valuation process for the BXC managed funds by building and maintaining valuation models, working with the investment teams and coordinating with 3rd party independent valuation specialists. Analyze and formally communicate key valuation results, issues and risks to the Valuation Committee on a monthly basis. Perform special projects and ad-hoc analyses determined by the needs of Senior Management.

• Blackstone Private Equity Valuations: Maintaining, preparing, and analyzing valuation models across Blackstone’s portfolio companies. Providing individual deal and total fund performance analysis and deliverables for the use of various constituents, including senior management, deal analysts, limited partners and internal/external auditors.

• Blackstone Real Estate Valuations: Perform critical analyses and valuation reporting for Blackstone’s opportunistic real estate funds. Coordinating across regional finance teams, asset

management and portfolio management teams to prepare quarterly valuation materials for senior management and the various valuation meetings. Aggregate and provide final valuation metrics to fund accounting and investor reporting teams for the purpose of producing financial statements and limited partners’ capital accountant statements.

• Blackstone Strategic Partners, Financial Planning and Analysis: Performing analyses and financial reporting of results to senior management. Analyzing, forecasting and reporting on AUM, revenue, expenses, performance tracking and other operating metrics.

• Treasury Operations: Perform analyses on Blackstone’s liquid investment portfolio and track investment performance including returns, risks, and holdings. Assist with forecasting short term cash needs and assist with FX leveling.

  • Strong quantitative skills

  • Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment while handling multiple projects
  • A strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude, and genuine passion for excellence
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
  • Resume must be in PDF format

Expected annual base salary range:

$90,000 - $90,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual’s experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
