Job Description:
Blackstone’s Investor Product Strategy group is responsible for the preparation and presentation of marketing and fundraising materials related to each respective business’ funds.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team, contributing to the entire fundraising and marketing cycle for our funds. The role focuses on investment strategy, financial analysis, marketing and communications of key messaging, performance-related data, and market research to support the marketing needs of all prospective, current, and closed funds within the alternative asset manager’s Private Equity business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Fundraising: Assist with the preparation and review of all aspects of the marketing and fundraising cycle from fund concept, documentation preparation, launch, “road show” presentations, marketing, investor / distributor diligence and closing of investor capital commitments
- Investor Presentations: Facilitate the creation and refinement of bespoke investor presentations leveraging our investment activity and valuations across all funds to ensure tailored and impactful communication
- Due Diligence and Investor Relations: Coordinate, collate and review investor / distributor due diligence requests and assist with investor queries
- Client Engagements / Reporting: Participate in the preparation, and review of conference/webinar materials, pitch books, talking points and performance memos
- Fund Analysis: Coordinate the collection and analysis of key metrics across multiple internal teams and external resources and assist in preparation and review of bespoke fund performance analyses
- Internal Reporting: Draft presentations and analyses for senior management
- Cross Functional Coordination: Collaborate with and support the broader strategy team, across marketing, deal teams, sales, finance and legal and compliance teams in dealing with product development, existing clients and prospective investors
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and synthesis of macroeconomic trends and private equity industry developments
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative discipline; strong academic record
- 1+ years of investor relations, strategy, management consulting, investment banking or other related experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative experience
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, handle multiple projects
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, iLevel reporting a plus
- Highly motivated and intelligent with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proven experience in marketing, fundraising, and investor relations within the private equity or financial services sector a plus
- Ability to synthesize quantitative data into qualitative insights and narratives
- Ability to “see the bigger picture”

Expected annual base salary range:
$90,000 – $125,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual’s experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
