Private Equity Analyst

Position Summary

Boathouse Capital is a Philadelphia based Private Equity firm seeking an Analyst. The Analyst will be an integral member of the investment team and will work closely with senior members of the firm and will be involved in all aspects of the investment process from sourcing to execution. The primary focus of this role is conducting technical and business due diligence, market and competitive analysis and monitoring of portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial review of sourced transactions including developing financial models and analyzing the industry/markets of the target
• Due diligence on target companies including market, company, accounting, legal and other types of diligence
• Creation of detailed financial projections and modeling of possible transactions; Assist in writing investment memoranda

Requirements

• Some relevant work experience is preferred (e.g., investment banking, consulting, accounting, etc.)
• Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, as well as possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to compile, analyze, and present industry and company research
• Well-rounded interpersonal skills and the ability to work diligently under limited supervision are of critical importance
• Honest, friendly, positive, team attitude with high standards of excellence
