The Role
We are currently recruiting for our highly competitive 2024 Summer Analyst program with roles available on both our software and healthcare investment teams. Summer Analysts are key components of M33’s deal origination strategies. This opportunity is open to candidates who will be completing their junior year at the time the internship begins.
Successful Summer Analysts may be extended the opportunity to join M33 post-graduation as an Analyst. After 24 months, Analysts will be considered for a promotion, at which point the role will expand to include due diligence, market analysis, investment modeling, and deal structuring. We have a proven track record of developing our Analysts and Associates into Principals, Managing Directors, and senior operating executives.

Key responsibilities

- Developing relationships with CEOs and founders to cultivate investment opportunities.
- Identifying investment themes, building market maps, and developing sourcing strategies in attractive verticals.
- Participating in weekly sourcing team and investment committee meetings; this includes articulating investment theses and outlining attractive opportunities to the broader team and Managing Directors.
Profile

- Prior experience in sales or demonstrated interest in developing sales skills.
- Prior internship experience in investing, investment banking, enterprise inside sales, sales operations, or consulting.
- No prior finance or investing experience is required, but an interest in investing, entrepreneurship, sales, technology, and/or healthcare is required
- Impeccable work ethic and integrity.

What To Expect
Our ten-to-twelve-week program includes orientation, access to all of the M33 team, and custom programming created to provide you with a comprehensive overview of the growth equity business. You’ll work onsite with experienced managers and team members on priority initiatives that span across all aspects of our business and team.
