Analyst, Aerospace & Defense Venture Investing

Plug and Play Tech Center is looking for a Ventures Analyst/Associate to join their team in Washington, DC. This role focuses on sourcing and supporting startups in the Aerospace & Defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and entrepreneurship, and will play a key role in building the investment portfolio and ecosystem. You’ll work closely with startups and corporate partners to drive innovation and growth.

What You’ll Do

• Source startups for investment opportunities and introductions
• Analyze market trends and startup competitive landscape
• Support deal teams on investment opportunities
• Conduct research to identify new markets and opportunities
• Connect startups with industry-specific advisors and resources

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a startup environment or private finance
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
