Analyst, Direct Lending Credit Investing

Ares Management is looking for an Analyst to join their Direct Lending team in Amsterdam. This role involves supporting the sourcing, underwriting, and analysis of new debt investments. You’ll be working closely with a dynamic team, conducting research, building financial models, and engaging with management teams to assess investment opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct detailed financial and market research for new investments
• Screen and analyze new investment opportunities
• Build complex financial models in Excel
• Prepare investment committee memos and presentations
• Monitor investment performance and update valuations
• Assist in legal documentation and deal closings
• Meet with management teams to assess investments

What You Need

• Relevant bachelor’s and master’s degree from a top institution
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Internship experience or 1-2 years in private credit or investment banking
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Creative problem solver and good team player
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Fluency in English and Dutch
