Analyst, Direct Lending Credit Investing

Golub Capital is looking for an Analyst or Associate to join their Direct Lending team in Chicago. In this role, you’ll assist in evaluating new investment opportunities and managing existing portfolios. You’ll work closely with experienced underwriters and have the chance to develop your financial modeling and analytical skills. What You’ll Do

• Assist in assessing new investment opportunities.
• Prepare financial models and investment memoranda.
• Conduct independent research on companies and industries.
• Help coordinate deal closings.
• Prepare portfolio reviews for existing investments.
• Monitor industry events and company performance.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in leveraged credit or investment banking.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software.
• Ability to leverage AI tools effectively.
• Enthusiastic about working in an office environment.
