Analyst, Investment Analyst – Buyout & LBO Strategy

AURELIUS is looking for an Investment Analyst / Associate to join their team in Munich. In this role, you’ll actively support the acquisition of medium-sized companies in the DACH region. You’ll be involved in all phases of the M&A process and portfolio management, conducting analyses and developing strategies to drive growth. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support the team in acquiring growing and healthy medium-sized companies in the DACH region
• Conduct due diligence activities for company acquisitions and sales
• Analyze company data like balance sheets and income statements
• Evaluate business models and develop growth strategies
• Create integrated financial models
• Assist in negotiations and financing strategy development
• Help implement refinancing strategies

What You Need

• Completed a business degree or similar education
• 1-3 years of experience in M&A, consulting, financial due diligence, or private equity
• Experience in a company focused on the German mid-market, an investment bank, or consulting
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel
