Analyst, Investment Strategy

K2MB Capital is looking for an Investment Analyst to join their team in Berlin. In this role, you’ll be involved in building financial models, conducting market research, and supporting the investment process. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience in finance who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses.
• Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support deal screening.
• Perform due diligence on prospective investments and prepare investment memos.
• Monitor portfolio performance and produce periodic reporting for stakeholders.
• Support senior team members through the full transaction lifecycle.

What You Need

• 1–3 years in investment banking, private equity, asset management, or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Comfort with valuation methodologies like DCF, comps, and precedent transactions.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA candidacy is a plus.
• Sharp analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to distill complexity into clear recommendations.
• Curiosity and a willingness to look for creative solutions.
