Analyst, Investment Analyst – Private Equity & Buyout

Blackford Capital is looking for an Investment Analyst to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you’ll be involved in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, preparing financial models, and engaging in the entire deal process. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience in private equity or investment banking who is eager to grow and make an impact.

What You’ll Do

• Source and evaluate investment opportunities
• Prepare financial models and investment materials
• Engage in due diligence and deal structuring
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and provide updates
• Oversee the intern program and mentor interns

What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in Private Equity, investment banking or M&A
• Exposure to manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
