Analyst, Life Sciences Venture Investing

New Rhein Healthcare Investors is looking for an Analyst/Associate to join their investment team in Philadelphia. This role involves supporting the entire deal lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities to monitoring portfolio performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in life sciences and a passion for investing, with a strong analytical background and excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in biopharma and medical devices.
• Support due diligence processes including market assessments and financial modeling.
• Assist in preparing investment memoranda and presentation materials.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives.
• Monitor company performance and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain understanding of industry trends and contribute to investment theses.

What You Need

• 3-6 years of experience in life sciences consultancy, private equity, venture capital, banking, or hedge funds.
• Experience in executing diligence and strong analytical skills.
• Financial modeling skills and understanding of corporate finance concepts.
• Comfort with evaluating scientific and clinical data is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and strong work ethic.
