Analyst, Mensch Investing Strategy

Hannover Finanz is looking for a motivated Investment Analyst to join their team in Hannover. In this role, you’ll support the investment process by identifying and evaluating opportunities, conducting analyses, and assisting in the development of portfolio companies. This position offers a chance to gain valuable insights into various industries and work closely with experienced investment professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Support the entire investment process, especially in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities.
• Conduct market and competitive analyses.
• Analyze and model business plans and financial structures.
• Create presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assess value creation potentials.
• Assist partners in developing portfolio companies.
• Contribute to the overall AI transformation of the investment process.

What You Need

• Completed degree in economics, business administration, finance, or a similar field.
• Some experience through internships or student jobs in private equity, transaction advisory, M&A consulting, or investment banking.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent financial modeling abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of responsibility.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI tools and databases like Orbis and Capital IQ.
