$475B The Carlyle Group is looking for an Analyst to join their Private Credit team in New York. This role will focus on business development and strategy within the U.S. Direct Lending platform. You’ll be involved in management reporting, market analysis, and supporting strategic initiatives. It’s a great opportunity to work closely with senior management and gain valuable experience in the private credit space.
What You’ll Do
- Help with management reporting and ensure data accuracy
- Assist in evaluating new business initiatives and financial modeling
- Support strategic transactions and internal decision materials
- Engage with capital markets initiatives and analyze financing opportunities
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Maintain a library of strategic models for business initiatives
- Assist with investor relations and fundraising efforts
- Contribute to special projects related to platform growth
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private credit, or asset management
- Strong team player with a self-starter mindset
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in transaction execution and project coordination
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
