Analyst, Private Equity Buyout Strategy

Cambridge Associates is looking for an Investment Analyst to join their Private Equity Research Team in Boston. This role involves conducting research and due diligence on private equity funds, assisting in the development of investment strategies, and monitoring existing fund managers. What You’ll Do

• Assist senior team members in analyzing private equity fund managers and markets.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on private equity funds.
• Source new investment opportunities through various networks.

• Produce investment recommendations and due diligence reports.
• Lead reference calls with portfolio company CEOs and industry participants.
• Prepare for and participate in global meetings discussing private equity markets.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in any field with a strong academic record.
• 1-3 years of work experience in investments or related fields.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written communication and business writing skills.
• Ability to engage with senior investment managers and external parties.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel domestically.
