Analyst, Private Markets Investing

JM Family Enterprises, Inc. is looking for an Investment Analyst to join their team in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. In this role, you’ll support the investment team in managing diverse portfolios and conducting research to enhance investment strategies. You’ll work closely with Portfolio Managers and be involved in monitoring investments and evaluating new opportunities. What You’ll Do

• Monitor existing investments and prepare research notes.
• Support the due diligence process for new investments.
• Evaluate investment performance against benchmarks.
• Conduct industry and market research to inform investment decisions.
• Assist in preparing materials for Investment Committee meetings.
• Work with the Investment Operations team on transaction reconciliations.

What You Need

• 3+ years of experience in investment management or analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• CFA or CAIA designation, or progress towards it, is preferred.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills.
• Familiarity with private markets investing and institutional portfolio management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and investment management tools like NASDAQ TopQ, Pitchbook, FactSet, and DealEdge.
