Analyst, Portfolio Management – Real Estate

Ares Management is looking for an Analyst to join their Real Estate Portfolio Management team in Denver. In this role, you’ll support the oversight of real estate investments through financial analysis and reporting. You’ll work closely with various teams to provide insights and help manage fund performance. What You’ll Do

• Support the management of fund financial models and forecasts.
• Manage property cash flow models for various activities.
• Lead the quarterly valuation process for properties.
• Collaborate with teams to review new investment proposals.
• Assist in budgeting and capital projections for assets.
• Handle internal and external reporting tasks.
• Work with teams to build and maintain data systems.

What You Need

• 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, investment banking, or data science.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
• Familiarity with Argus and Yardi software is a plus.
• Ability to analyze financial data and understand investment valuation concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
