Analyst, Platform Analytics

StepStone Group is looking for a detail-oriented Analyst or Senior Analyst to join their Platform Analytics team in Dublin. This role involves collaborating with various teams to meet data analytics needs in the private debt sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investments, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for data-driven insights.

What You’ll Do

• Work with the portfolio analytics team on data analyses for private markets
• Develop and improve data analytics tools
• Create new data analysis reports for various deliverables
• Handle regular analytics tasks like expense ratios and ESG reporting
• Interpret data outputs and communicate findings to senior team members
• Address ad hoc requests from clients
• Evaluate the quality of data analyses and raise any issues
• Assist with other projects in the analytics team

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business preferred
• 2-4 years of relevant experience, ideally in Investment or Private Markets
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and data sets
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Self-starter who can identify and investigate data issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Technical capabilities in data analysis
