Analyst, Venture Capital Investing

DRW is looking for a Venture Capital Analyst to join their team in Chicago. In this role, you’ll dive into the world of private company investing, working closely with portfolio companies and co-investors. You’ll be responsible for sourcing new opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and supporting the growth of innovative fintech businesses. What You’ll Do

• Manage a pipeline of investment opportunities and generate new leads.
• Prepare investment memos and pitch decks based on market research.
• Assist in deal structuring and evaluating term sheets.
• Support portfolio companies in developing corporate strategies.
• Monitor current investments and track performance metrics.
• Conduct industry research to stay updated on trends.

What You Need

• 1 to 4 years of experience in Venture Capital, Growth Equity, or Private Equity.
• Experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, or Corporate Strategy is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in valuation modeling and Excel.
• A strong passion for investing and evaluating opportunities.
• Curiosity about business models and how companies generate revenue.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
