Analyst, Venture Capital Investing

Seedstars Africa Ventures is looking for a Venture Capital Analyst to join their team in Abidjan. This role is perfect for someone eager to dive into the VC world and support innovative startups in Africa. You’ll be involved in identifying investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and building relationships with entrepreneurs. What You’ll Do

• Identify and assess investment opportunities in startups.
• Build relationships with entrepreneurs and investors.
• Conduct due diligence on potential investments.
• Prepare investment notes and memos.
• Monitor portfolio companies and support their growth.
• Participate in board meetings and fund reporting.

What You Need

• Some experience in investment funds, banks, or tech companies in Africa.
• Strong networks in the entrepreneurial space across West Africa.
• Interest in startups and emerging markets, especially Africa.
• Good financial, analytical, and writing skills.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Proficient in Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-starter attitude and ability to work in a team.
