Plug and Play Tech Center is looking for a Ventures Analyst/Associate in Sugar Land, TX. This role involves sourcing startups in the Smart Cities space and supporting investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and entrepreneurship, and will work closely with both startups and corporate partners to drive innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Source promising startups for investment and partnerships.
• Conduct market research to identify trends in Smart Cities.
• Support deal teams on new investment opportunities.
• Mentor startups on business needs and scaling.
• Collaborate with corporate partners to meet their technology needs.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Technology, Engineering, or Data Analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience in a startup or venture capital environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
