At Apollo, we work as one team, partnering across regions and disciplines to share the perspectives and insights that lead us to exceptional opportunities.  In this role, the candidate will support all trade booking and trade management across multi strategy (including structured credit, high yield, emerging markets and bank debt) public funds and separately managed accounts for Insurance portfolio companies as well as Insurance clients.  You’ll partner with junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects across the team. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your learning with an end-of-summer capstone project.

As a Summer Analyst on the team, you will also:

  • Manage trade bookings across Apollo’s liquid credit businesses
  • Coordinate with traders, portfolio managers, finance, compliance and businesses managers through close partnership in NY and London
  • Book trades across multiple strategies, with minimal direction and oversight from PMs
  • Provide real time monitoring of portfolio activity and relay key points of feedback to decision makers
  • Manage and publish trade and portfolio summaries
  • Collaborate with risk monitoring group to develop reports related to the firm’s portfolios
  • Maintain a professional relationship with executing brokers
  • Resolve trade issues with counter party and internal operations
  • Help refine existing trade allocation process and implement designated procedures
  • Assist the team with additional ad hoc projects and requests as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • Pursuing a BA or BS (Class of 2026) degree from undergraduate institution with a record of academic achievement
  • The individual should have experience in the financial markets and a background in finance with working knowledge of high yield, loan, derivates and equity trading
  • Basic understanding of the capital markets, investment metrics and leverage Finance fundamentals
  • Strong analytical and technical aptitude
  • Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively alongside senior members of the Credit business and across the firm
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Bloomberg and Everest
  • Team player with strong work ethic and who excels in a rigorous and fast-paced work environment

Pay Range

$85,000-$110,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
