Position Overview

Apollo is seeking an individual to join the Client Portfolio Management & Innovation (CPMI) team to contribute to market strategy and cross-platform communication efforts. As a part of the Client & Product Solutions division, CPMI is responsible for driving strategic and sustainable capital formation efforts via high-impact client engagement, innovative products and their adjacencies, as well as delivering perspectives on current market developments and trends to private markets.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support cross-platform communication initiatives around the benefit of private markets/alternatives and Apollo’s platform of products through market research, insights development, and content creation (via commentaries, short-form text, and presentations)
• Monitor, analyze, and synthesize capital market trends and industry developments for incorporation into broader forms of communication
• Assist Global Wealth Strategists in creating a range of content – including market commentary, conference/webinar presentations, and market analytics – with messaging tailored to the Global Wealth audience in a clear and thoughtful manner
• Maintain all house economic and asset class views which will be used for the CPMs and GWMS leadership
• Assist in streamlining and centralizing cross-platform communications (around products and markets)
• Manage and meet project deadlines effectively: juggling multiple assignments and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content
• Collaborate with various teams (including marketing, sales, product management) on firmwide thought leadership initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-6+ years of prior experience in an investor relations, product marketing & management, or financial writing role at a financial services firm, (e.g., asset management, wealth management or equity research) or financial journalism firm
• Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics and trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to multi-task and focus on delivering results
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively (with an energetic, enthusiastic, and personable attitude) in a rigorous and fast-paced team-oriented work environment
• Fluency in English

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: (Computer skills, Software knowledge, Equipment experience…)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)

Pay Range

$125k – $165k

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
