Associate, Alternative Investments

Apollo Global Management is looking for an Associate in Alternative Investments to join their team in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you’ll support investment accounting and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial data. You’ll work closely with finance leaders and have the chance to improve processes while contributing to a collaborative culture.

What You’ll Do

• Work with finance leaders to ensure timely investment accounting activities
• Support investment accounting and reporting for Athene USA
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports
• Perform reconciliations of investment data
• Review investment portfolio activity in the accounting system
• Assist with audit requests and improve processes
• Provide updates to management on team performance

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or similar
• 3-5 years of accounting or analysis experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of GAAP and Statutory accounting preferred
• Familiarity with investment accounting systems is a plus
