What You’ll Do
- Work with third-party administrators to ensure accurate accounting
- Maintain records and perform reconciliations
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports
- Monitor compliance with SEC and IRS regulations
- Help with the valuation process of the investment portfolio
- Respond to requests from external investors
- Prepare materials for the BDC Board of Directors
What You Need
- Undergraduate degree required
- 3+ years of professional work experience
- Experience in public or private accounting is preferred
- Knowledge of BDC products is a plus
- Experience with credit instruments is preferred
- Familiarity with SEC reporting is a plus
- Experience in alternative investment fund accounting is required
- CPA is preferred
