Associate, Buyout Investing

HarbourVest Partners is looking for an Associate to join their EMEA Direct Investment team in London. This role involves conducting investment due diligence, financial analysis, and developing investment recommendations. What You’ll Do

• Conduct investment due diligence and research on companies and industries.
• Perform financial analysis and create financial models.
• Develop investment recommendations and prepare supporting documents.
• Participate in team discussions and share your insights.
• Coordinate legal documentation and assist in closing transactions.
• Engage with General Partners and attend industry events.
• Monitor existing portfolio companies.

What You Need

• 2-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Fluency in a second European language is a plus.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting concepts.
