$1100B The Portfolio Management team at Blackstone is looking for an Associate to join their BXMA Valuation & Analytics group. In this role, you’ll focus on preparing and analyzing portfolio investment valuations, particularly in private assets. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, maintain relationships across teams, and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review valuation models and presentations
- Apply valuation methodologies according to company policy
- Attend meetings and present to senior stakeholders
- Maintain expertise in structured risk transfers and complex valuations
- Coordinate with auditors and third-party valuation firms
- Support internal committees with valuation results
- Collaborate with various teams for business forecasts
What You Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar field
- 3+ years of experience in private valuation
- Understanding of ASC 820 and valuation guidance
- Strong knowledge of valuation models like DCF and market multiples
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to present confidently to groups
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Python is a plus
