Associate, Co-Investments

GCM Grosvenor is looking for a Private Equity Co-Investments Associate to join their team in New York. This role involves engaging in all aspects of private equity investments, from due diligence to transaction execution and monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and a passion for investment management, working closely with a talented team to drive successful investment outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Engage in investment transactions from start to finish.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on investment opportunities.
• Prepare investment memorandums for internal committees.
• Work with legal teams to negotiate deal terms.
• Monitor investments post-close and provide updates to clients.
• Support fundraising efforts for private equity funds.
• Build and modify financial models for analysis.
• Supervise and train junior analysts and interns.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics; MBA preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or consulting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Great organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
