Associate, Compute Investing

This role involves sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in the compute sector, working closely with experienced investors. What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with founders and engineers in the compute and AI ecosystem.
• Conduct diligence on potential investments, analyzing technical and market aspects.
• Represent the firm at community events to enhance brand visibility.
• Help develop and refine investment theses across the compute stack.
• Support existing portfolio companies as needed.
• Maintain a map of key people and companies in the industry.

What You Need

• 2-4 years of experience in a production engineering role at a tech company or startup.
• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong connections in the San Francisco tech and AI community.
• A genuine curiosity about compute technologies.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and create processes.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build trust quickly.
