Associate, Credit Investing

Ares Management is looking for an Associate to join their US Direct Lending team in Los Angeles. This role involves supporting the investment process, from sourcing and analyzing new opportunities to managing existing investments. What You’ll Do

• Support sourcing and analyzing potential new investments
• Help with deal closings and portfolio management
• Perform detailed financial and market analysis
• Prepare complex financial models and investment memos
• Monitor investment performance and update valuations
• Meet with management teams to assess new opportunities

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent required
• At least 1.5 years of relevant investment banking or principal investing experience
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Creative problem solver with great interpersonal skills
• High integrity and trustworthiness
