Associate, Credit – US Direct Lending (Healthcare)

Ares Management is looking for an Associate to join their Direct Lending Specialty Healthcare team. This role involves supporting the sourcing, underwriting, and analysis of new investments in the healthcare sector. You’ll work closely with management teams and assist in deal closings while gaining exposure to all phases of the investment process. What You’ll Do

• Support sourcing and analyzing new investment opportunities
• Prepare financial models and investment committee memos
• Analyze investment performance and update valuations
• Assist in deal closings and portfolio management
• Meet with management teams to assess investments
• Provide support to senior management as needed

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent required
• At least 2 years of relevant investment banking or principal investing experience
• Interest in specialty healthcare sectors like pharma, biotech, or healthcare IT
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• High integrity and trustworthiness
