Associate, Digital Infrastructure Investments

Ares Management is looking for an Associate in Tokyo to join their Digital Infrastructure Investments team. This role involves working closely with the investment team on sourcing and executing investment opportunities in the digital infrastructure space. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial analysis and a passion for the growing demand for data and cloud computing.

What You’ll Do

• Work with the investment team on sourcing and executing investment opportunities
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and modeling
• Perform industry and competitive analysis
• Draft memoranda for internal and external use
• Prepare due diligence packs with relevant analytics
• Conduct interviews with industry experts
• Build detailed operating models for prospective deals
• Support the investment team with various tasks

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a strong academic record
• 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or consulting
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Great interpersonal skills and a team player
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
• High integrity and trustworthiness
