Associate, Direct Lending

KKR is looking for a K-Star Real Estate Direct Lending Associate to join their team in Dallas, TX. This role involves underwriting commercial loans and managing the due diligence process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate lending and excellent analytical skills. What You’ll Do

• Model and underwrite commercial loans across various asset classes
• Manage the due diligence process for loans
• Prepare investment memorandums
• Coordinate the investment process including bidding and closing
• Participate in due diligence sessions and loan structuring
• Develop investment themes and conduct data analysis
• Assist with loan asset management and reporting
• Collaborate with investment professionals across KKR

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial real estate lending
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Knowledge of commercial real estate and financial concepts
• Exceptional written and presentation skills
• Collaborative and relationship-building skills
• Goal-oriented with strong multitasking abilities
