Associate, Direct Lending Restructuring

Ares Management is looking for an Associate to join their Direct Lending Restructuring team in London. In this role, you’ll analyze financial performance, assess risks, and help structure transactions for portfolio companies. What You’ll Do

• Analyze portfolio companies’ performance and financials
• Assess risks and opportunities for potential transactions
• Help structure and negotiate transactions
• Communicate investment strategies to stakeholders
• Work with management teams on strategy and financial performance
• Support M&A processes for equity positions

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a strong academic record
• 2-6 years of experience in restructuring, investment banking, or related fields
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Strong Excel skills, including building complex financial models
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Great interpersonal skills and a team player
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
