Associate Director, Private Credit Investing

Apis & Heritage Capital Partners is looking for an Associate Director in Private Credit to join their team in Washington, DC. This role involves leading the underwriting process for new investment opportunities and managing a growing portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit underwriting and a passion for making a positive impact in the investment process.

What You’ll Do

• Lead underwriting for new investment opportunities.
• Drive modeling and due diligence for deals in the pipeline.
• Produce and present investment memorandums for internal meetings.
• Support deal execution, including documentation and closing.
• Manage post-close portfolio monitoring and performance tracking.

What You Need

• 5+ years of experience in commercial bank lending, private credit, or related fields.
• Proven success in underwriting lower middle market credit opportunities.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate complex business and financial matters quickly.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
