BlackRock is looking for an Associate to join their Emerging Markets investment team in New York. This role involves evaluating and executing investment opportunities in sectors like energy and transportation, primarily in Latin America. You’ll conduct market research, build financial models, and support ongoing investment performance monitoring. It’s a great opportunity for someone passionate about infrastructure investing.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with deal team members to evaluate and execute investment opportunities
  • Conduct market research and financial analysis
  • Manage projects and monitor investment performance
  • Build financial models to support investment decisions
  • Assist with due diligence and risk assessment
  • Support portfolio companies post-acquisition

What You Need

  • 2 – 4 years of investment banking or private equity experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong GPA from a leading university
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Experience in Latin America in sectors like energy, transportation, digital, or water and waste
  • Strong background in finance and economics
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
