Associate, Fintech Incubations

Primary Venture Partners is looking for an Associate to join their Fintech Incubations team in New York. This role involves researching and developing new business concepts in the financial technology space. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who enjoys exploring complex systems and engaging with customers. What You’ll Do

• Conduct deep research into emerging financial technology problems.
• Translate research findings into business models and product concepts.
• Engage with customers to validate and refine ideas.
• Build prototypes to test core assumptions quickly.
• Synthesize learnings into clear narratives and presentations.

What You Need

• 3-6 years of experience in management consulting, equity research, or investment roles.
• Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize insights from customer conversations and market data.
• Familiarity with generative AI technologies and their applications.
• Excellent communication skills, able to write clearly and persuasively.
• Understanding of business models, unit economics, and market sizing.
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments.
