Associate, Frontier Investing Strategy

Energy Impact Partners is looking for an Associate to join their Frontier team in New York. This role is a fantastic entry point into venture capital, where you’ll work closely with a small team on investments in revolutionary technologies aimed at achieving net-zero emissions. You’ll be involved in all phases of the investment process, from sourcing deals to supporting portfolio companies.

What You’ll Do

• Source and screen potential investments.
• Review business plans and assist in due diligence.
• Research market trends and dynamics.
• Develop investment committee memorandums.
• Create financial models.
• Support ongoing portfolio management.

What You Need

• 1-2 years of work experience in investment banking, equity research, or venture capital.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a technical field.
• Strong commitment to climate change and the climate tech ecosystem.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter, and intellectually curious.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
