Associate, Fund Investment & Managed Solutions

Hamilton Lane is looking for an Associate to join their Fund Investment & Managed Solutions team in Toronto. In this role, you’ll support Canadian clients with portfolio management and investment monitoring. You’ll work closely with senior professionals and contribute to strategic planning while also engaging with clients regularly. What You’ll Do

• Support Canadian Separately Managed Account clients with portfolio management
• Help design and refine client strategic plans
• Model portfolio construction and pacing scenarios
• Assist in creating presentation materials for clients
• Conduct diligence for primary fund investments
• Collaborate with the global team on investment opportunities
• Meet with clients regularly to discuss their needs

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CFA, CAIA and/or MBA is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience in finance, ideally in private markets
• Good understanding of capital structures and portfolio construction
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple projects
