$47B The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan is looking for an Investment Associate to join their Infrastructure & Natural Resources team in London. This role involves analyzing investment opportunities, executing transactions, and working with portfolio companies to enhance value. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will have the chance to develop their investment skills while collaborating with senior team members across various sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze investment opportunities using financial modeling tools.
- Identify key value drivers and financial risks.
- Assist in the due diligence process and financial modeling.
- Work with external advisors to assess risks and submit bids.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
- Review financial reports and budgets from portfolio companies.
- Conduct research on existing investments and develop action plans.
- Support internal annual valuations.
What You Need
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking or private equity.
- Experience in the infrastructure sector, especially in energy, transportation, and utilities.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure industry dynamics and regulatory environments.
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, or mathematics; technical degrees are also welcome.
- Experience with due diligence and debt financing.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
