Associate, Investing Strategy

Z2 Capital Partners is looking for an Associate to join their team in Stamford, CT. This role offers a chance to work on various investment transactions and gain hands-on experience in the investment process. You will collaborate closely with Vice Presidents and Partners, contributing to due diligence, investment memorandums, and presentations to the Investment Committee. What You’ll Do

• Assist in due diligence for various transactions.
• Screen and structure new investment opportunities.
• Attend management meetings and industry events.
• Prepare investment memorandums for the firm’s Investment Committee.
• Review legal documentation related to transactions.

What You Need

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in investment banking, private credit, or private equity.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in small teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to the Investment Committee.
