Associate, Investment Associate 2026

Bertram Capital is looking for an Investment Associate to join their team in Foster City, CA, starting in Summer 2026. This role involves working closely with experienced professionals on various investment opportunities, including evaluating new investments and managing portfolio companies. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in investment banking and a passion for driving growth in businesses.

What You’ll Do

• Work closely with senior team members on new investment opportunities.
• Evaluate potential platform investments and add-on acquisitions.
• Develop investment theses and manage portfolio performance.
• Participate in deal execution and due diligence processes.

What You Need

• 1-3 years of investment banking experience.
• Undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and modeling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in portfolio company strategy and operations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• High proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
