Associate, Investment Associate – Growth & Energy Investing

Aligned Climate Capital is looking for an Investment Associate to join their Aligned Solar Partners team. This role involves working on the full lifecycle of clean energy investments, from origination to portfolio management. You’ll be part of a mission-driven firm that is dedicated to addressing climate change through innovative financial solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for investment opportunities.
• Support origination efforts and prepare investment memorandums.
• Assist in negotiations and management of key contracts.
• Track and report on market and regulatory developments.
• Engage with current and prospective investors for fundraising.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.
• 2 – 4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or project finance in power and renewables.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Exposure to M&A, structured finance, tax equity, and debt financing.
• Understanding of energy regulatory frameworks and policy incentives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
