Associate, Investment Associate – Venture Investing

Clocktower Ventures is looking for an Investment Associate to join their Santa Monica team. In this role, you’ll dive into live deals, evaluate investments, and build relationships in the fintech space. If you’re passionate about technology and financial services, and enjoy working independently, this could be a great fit for you.

What You’ll Do

• Source and develop relationships in the fintech market.
• Evaluate potential investments and conduct market research.
• Build financial models to assess business viability.
• Drive the diligence process for potential transactions.
• Work independently and manage your own projects.

What You Need

• 4+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, VC/PE, or a fintech startup.
• Strong ability to build and defend financial models and valuations.
• Early adopter and user of AI tools.
• High attention to detail and dependable work ethic.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
• Interest in technology and financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
