Associate, Investment Associate – Venture Investing

ECBF VC is looking for an Investment Associate to join their team in Bonn, Germany. In this role, you’ll be involved in the entire investment process, from sourcing opportunities to supporting portfolio companies. What You’ll Do

• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the bioeconomy sector.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
• Lead financial modeling and due diligence processes.
• Support portfolio companies in their growth and fundraising efforts.
• Prepare investment recommendations for the Investment Committee.

What You Need

• 3-5 years of experience in venture capital or a related field.
• Strong skills in financial analysis and modeling.
• Ability to assess business models and market opportunities.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis.
• A degree in finance, economics, or a related analytical field.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
