Associate, Investment Associate – Growth Strategy

GEF Capital Partners is looking for an Investment Associate to join their Washington, D.C. team. This role involves sourcing, analyzing, and executing investments while supporting the firm’s environmental impact strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and a passion for sustainability. You’ll work closely with a collaborative team and have the chance to engage with senior management and global teams.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze and evaluate new investment proposals
• Develop detailed financial models
• Prepare investment memos and present findings
• Research markets and identify new investment opportunities
• Collaborate with the team to execute transactions
• Support ongoing monitoring of the portfolio

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier undergraduate program
• 1-4 years of experience in financial modeling and analysis
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling and statement analysis
• Good business judgment and problem-solving skills
