Associate, Investment Associate – Venture Investing

Invictus Growth Partners is looking for an Investment Associate to join their team in San Mateo, CA. This role offers a chance to work closely with senior leadership and take on significant responsibilities from day one. You’ll be involved in sourcing deals, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies, all while being part of a rapidly growing firm.

What You’ll Do

• Build relationships with founder-led companies in software, cybersecurity, and fintech.
• Manage deal flow and create sourcing channels.
• Develop investment theses and market maps.
• Lead financial modeling and due diligence.
• Prepare investment memoranda for reviews.
• Support portfolio companies with strategic initiatives.

What You Need

• 2-4 years in investment banking, growth equity, private equity, or management consulting.
• Strong financial modeling skills, especially with SaaS metrics.
• Curiosity about software business models and tech trends.
• Excellent communication skills for complex ideas.
• Self-starter with a strong ownership mentality.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
