Associate, Investment Associate

Tanarra Capital is looking for an Investment Associate to join their Strategic Influence Fund in Melbourne. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a small team on public equity investments, applying a private equity-style approach. What You’ll Do

• Screen and monitor listed companies through detailed research.
• Conduct fundamental analysis, including financial modeling and valuation.
• Develop actionable investment strategies and theses.
• Engage with management teams and boards during due diligence.
• Prepare investment materials and contribute to discussions.
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and engagement.

What You Need

• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity.
• Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in business strategy.
• Ability to work independently with a hands-on approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curious and resourceful with a long-term perspective.
