Associate, Investment Associate – Venture Investing

Betaworks is looking for an Investment Associate to join their New York team. This role involves finding exciting new startups, supporting portfolio companies, and building community through events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and entrepreneurship, along with a strong network in the NYC tech scene. It’s a great opportunity to grow in the venture capital space while working closely with innovative founders.

What You’ll Do

• Find and connect with promising new founders.
• Build relationships with other investors to share deals.
• Support the investment committee with market analysis.
• Help portfolio companies with their fundraising efforts.
• Organize events to foster community and collaboration.
• Maintain awareness of the needs of portfolio founders.

What You Need

• 2-3 years of professional experience.
• Based in New York and available to work five days a week in the office.
• Understanding of building products and technical language.
• Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies.
• Able to work independently and deliver quality work.
• Strong communication skills with various stakeholders.
• Excited to grow the founder community.
