Associate, Investment Associate – Venture Investing

ThirdWay Partners is looking for an Investment Associate to join their team in Bogotá. This role will support the launch of a new climate-focused fund and work closely with the Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment and a passion for climate solutions, ready to tackle complex challenges and drive meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do

• Source and originate investment opportunities in climate-focused sectors.
• Support the full investment process from diligence to execution.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess investment viability.
• Prepare materials for Investment Committee meetings.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with investment terms.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline operations.

What You Need

• 6-8 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or direct investment focused on climate.
• Strong skills in building and analyzing financial models.
• Proven track record of executing transactions and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Passion for climate finance and sustainable development in emerging markets.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Bogotá or Quito.
