Associate, Venture Investing

Attijariwafa Ventures is looking for an Associate in Investment to join their team in Casablanca-Settat, Morocco. This role involves engaging in all stages of the investment cycle, from sourcing opportunities to portfolio management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa.

What You’ll Do

• Identify new investment opportunities through startup ecosystems, incubators, events, and business networks.
• Analyze investment proposals, including pitch decks, business plans, and financial models.
• Coordinate external audits and identify key risks.
• Participate in portfolio management and strategy development post-investment.
• Contribute to fund strategy and prepare presentations for stakeholders.

What You Need

• Graduate from a top business or engineering school or a high-level university program (Bac+5).
• 3-5 years of experience in venture capital, M&A, transaction audit, strategy consulting, or startups.
• Strong interest in innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship, and African issues.
• Proficient in financial analysis and comfortable in dynamic environments.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy, and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
