Associate, Investment Strategy

Vena Group is looking for an Associate to join their investment team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you’ll be evaluating investment opportunities and conducting due diligence. You’ll also be building financial models and supporting negotiations. This position offers a chance to work on exciting projects in the renewable energy sector and contribute to a greener future.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities through thorough research and due diligence.
• Build and review detailed financial models to forecast investment performance.
• Support negotiations of commercial and legal contracts.
• Monitor the performance of investments and key value drivers.
• Assist in ongoing financing transactions and internal valuations.
• Engage with Vena Energy’s projects continuously.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree with a strong GPA, preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Financial Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in finance, economics, investment, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts and financial statements.
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and focus on results.
• Detail-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset.
